The Exhibition – CNE
The Exhibition is located near the Harbourfront. The Exhibition is Canada’s largest annual community event. It takes place over the 18 days leading up to and including Labour Day. The CNE offers a wide variety of entertainment and events, midway rides and games, a working farm, parades and sports, international food and shopping, Kids’ World, and a three-day air show. The Dufferin bus will take you right up to the front gates. Official opening day for the Exhibition is on August 20th, 2010.

Dream in High Park
The Canadian Stage Company is presenting an outdoor staging of one of Shakespeare’s works at High Park. This year, the show is Romeo & Juliet. Performances are every Tuesday to Sunday at 8pm. Admission is by PWYC donation ($20 minimum suggested) and it is free for children 14 and under. Remember that High Park is a big place and parking is limited, so whether you’re driving or taking transit, be sure to leave early to reach the Dream site.
